ROLE TITLE Senior Support Engineer (L2 Support)
Work Experience
  • 2 to 6 years
OBJECTIVES of ROLE
  • Responsible for deploying and supporting the product/CRs at customer environment.
  • Managing the tickets from customer adhering to SLA
RESPONSIBILITIES /TASKS 1.            Installation of product/solution and its dependencies on servers 2.            Following up with customer points of contact for various aspects. 3.            Integration of product with various external entities and readiness of the solution. 4.            End to end system testing before handing over system to customer for user acceptance testing. 5.            Driving the UAT with end customer(s) from support perspective 6.            Launch and post-go live management of the product, including Monitoring and automation of various jobs
SKILLS             1.            Very good knowledge on Unix and Shell scripting 2.            3 to 6 years of experience with Telecom BSS/OSS solution in prior with at least two customers with/without onsite presence. 3.            Good knowledge on RDBMS concepts and Oracle Queries 4.            Preferred knowledge on Hadoop/HBase/PostGreSQL 5.            Extensive experience of systems development including involvement in all major stages of software development projects. 2.       Good Knowledge and appreciation of systems development lifecycles and methodologies. 3.       Well established communication, presentation, motivational and inter-personal skills associated with person-management abilities. 5.            Thorough understanding, appreciation and analysis of the issues underlying systems development. 6.            Experience of the technical aspects of the relevant technologies, software and hardware, to be employed. 7.            Prior experience in Telecom sources ETL tool experience is preferred.

ROLE TITLE Support Lead
OBJECTIVES of ROLE
  • Prime responsibility of leading L1/L2 support team
  • Accountability on direct customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES /TASKS
  • Responsible for leading the L1/L2 support role for a critical application.
  • Managing a team of support engineers to under the SLA.
  • Constant engagement with customers as the first level of escalation.
  • Deployment of new releases of product/CRs as part of implementation support.
  • Diagnose and close customer-raised tickets and internally identified issues within SLA.
  • Take accountability of direct customer experience by engaging with various customer teams and external vendors.
  • Constant interaction with L3 and Engineering support for reporting and fixing issues.
  • Periodic reports to senior management about ticket progress and RCA and continual improvements.
  • Able to manage customers in different time zones and regions.
